About Me

A bit of a goofy photo of me taken at one of the team
training days

I am a married stay at home mum with two children aged 22 and 20 (both away at university). I've been married to my childhood sweetheart, George, for 32 years, and during this time we have lived in South of England, and also Southern California (San Diego).

Crafting has been my passion for more years than I care to admit. I was introduced to stamping and Stampin' Up! back in 2003 when I lived in the USA. When we returned to the UK in 2006, Stampin' Up! hadn't yet started in Europe and crafting was in any event put on hold while we settled back into life in the UK.

Some years later (2011), my love of all things Stampin' Up! was rekindled when I came across the stand at a large craft fair. It did not take me long to make the decision to sign up. My original intention was to simply purchase items for myself, but I was soon holding classes for my mother and her friends and things took off from there.

I have been holding classes and all day events in my home in Wokingham (RG40 3JQ) for some years now. And, now that the kids are away at university my craft room has taken over the basement of the house (the Xbox and Playstation have been banished).

I love being a Stampin' Up! demonstrator and sharing my ideas with the people who attend my classes and events. Sharing is a very important part of being a demonstrator.

As the Stampin' Up! statement of the heart says

" To love what we do and share what we love, as we help others enjoy creativity and worthwhile accomplishments... in this we make a difference".

My team has been growing over recent years and I currently have 13 direct downlines and the team currently has 22 people (including me) in it. We meet on a regular basis in both formal and informal events and have lots of fun and laughs together (some serious stuff too of course). Having a team and running classes means that I am at a level where I also get to do all sorts of things Stampin' Up! wise. I am able to attend top demonstrator events at our Annual European Convention and I even attended a Leadership event in Florida this past February. I hope to be able to go on one of the Incentive Trips sometime over the next few years.
